4 Month Old Puppy Beaten Almost to Death, Juveniles Involved

Wadesboro, NC, police found a 4 month old puppy in a abandoned house. The puppy had been so severely beaten with a sledgehammer, a beer bottle and rock that he’s lost and eye, may lose the use of one of his legs and also possibly has a skull fracture. The culprits? Police believe that 4 juveniles and at least one or two adults were involved in this horrific crime.
The abandoned house the puppy was found in is next door to the home of the puppy’s owner but as yet, no one has any idea how the puppy got to the abandoned house on Cherry Street where he was found after a disturbance call. Police do hope to make some arrests Monday.
The puppy is at the Homeward Bound Humane Society in Anson County and is slowly recovering.
What kind of a sick thrill do people get out of beating and abusing a defenseless and innocent animal?? After the thrill of animal abuse wears off, what’s next? Children, strangers… It takes a very sick and twisted person to enjoy inflicting pain on a living creature. These kinds of people have no place in society… period! Their actions will only escalate. It may be ‘only a dog’ this time, but what about next time? Find’em and lock’em up, then just throw away the key!

THIS DISGUST ME TO NO END…I’M TRYING NOT TO FLY OFF THE HANDLE HERE BUT I WONDER HOW THEY WOULD LIKE IT IF WE BEAT THESE POS TO DEATH WITH A BASEBALL BAT, CUT THEM WITH A HACKSAW AND SLICE THEM UP INCH BY INCH WITH A BROKEN BEER BOTTLE??? I BET THEY WOULD GET THE REAL MEANING OF PAIN AND MAY THINK 2′S (IF THEY HAVE A BRAIN) BEFORE EVER HURTING ANOTHER ANIMAL (OR HUMAN) AGAIN!!! THESE POS DESERVE MORE THAN A SEVERE PUNISHMENT!!! MAKE AN EXAMPLE OUT OF THESE SUBHUMAN GARGAGE CANS AND SHOW THEM ANIMAL CRUELTY WILL NOT BE TOLERATED..I’M SO SICK OF HEARING OF THESE IDIOTS JUST GETTING A SLAP ON THE WRIST..GUESS IT WILL TAKE THEM TO HURT A SMALL CHILD OR A HUMAN FOR EVERYONE TO GET THE PICTURE..WHY WAIT UNTIL IT’S TOO LATE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!????????

It gets to the point that you wonder what will it take to teach these people a lesson? I just can’t understand what kind of mind can do this to an innocent animal for no apparant reason and that it’s a juvenile no less…I just can’t fathom it. The law has really got to start coming down harder on these people. It’s only going to escalate. Like Marie said…I’m trying to control my feelings here, but I’m so disgusted with some of the human race it goes beyond words. Thank goodness for the good people out there.

This makes me sick it really does what in gods name can make these creeps do this to one little puppy that only wanted someone to love it is so sad as I set here and try to type this one of my doggies is rigth under my chair with her head on my foot to me their is no better feeling my only guess these kids is mad and angry because no one is loving them and they take it out on anything and anyone I just hope they never have kids of their own if they do you can bet it will make the headlines ……..jeffrey aka littledog

@Angie - Been looking for an update but nothing as of yet on any arrests. Luckily, the puppy is recovering, up and around but there’s still a question about the leg, how serious the injury is.
