Puppy Killer Pleads Guilty

Michael Ray Howard, who admitted to stuffing 14 tiny Jack Russell mix puppies in a heavy trash bag to suffocate, leaving them outside overnight then throwing the bag of puppies in a Riverdale dumpster the next day pleaded guilty.
Not only was he facing 13 counts of aggravated animal cruelty, Class A misdemeanors, one for each puppy that he killed and once count of animal cruelty, a Class B misdemeanor, for the one puppy that survived, he was also facing numerous drug charges, felonies.
A class A misdemeanor can carry a year in jail; a class B misdemeanor can carry a sentence of six months in jail; and a third-degree felony can bring a sentence of up to five years in prison.
Howard is scheduled to be sentenced before 2nd District Judge Roger Dutson on July 7.
Precious, the surviving puppy is doing well in her new home.

He,s a real piece of trash if you ask me and it should be 13
felonies people like that need to spend a lot of time in jail for their senseless acts a lot of people would have been glad to take them puppys no matter how old I bet that poor mother dog looked for her puppys for days I can only hope that they was smart enougth to get her to a new home ….jeffrey

I can only sincerely pray that this guy gets whst he has coming to him and that his judge will give him the stiffest sentence possible and be an axample to the citizens that there are judges that sincerely have compassion and fully understand that a sicko like him does not belong on the streets (or the planet) as his next victims and yes, there will be more innocent victims of his sick mind) Just maybe this judge will set an example as a man who not only underatands that laws are to be enforced but has compassion and humanity that these mentally challenged morons do not have willl keep him far away locked up for as long as possible. Six helplss puppies tht didn’t have a coice nor a voice. Shameful! I would not be allowed to write tthe owrds I would like to.
