It's frustrating to see this pup go through this again. And I do have trouble believing her after talking to the AC officers a few times. And her posts on dogster that she kept changing the facts according to her.

I hope Bobbe can adopt her this time. And that Daisy can be saved from this happening again. It is not Daisy's fault at all, and it is not a BSL issue, I do not believe it ever was. Or shouldn't be if the judgement was complied with the first time around.<div class="comment-remix-meta"><a href="#" class="replyto" onclick="replyto('19788','Jim'); return false;">Reply</a> - <a href="#" class="quote" onclick="quote('19788','Jim','It\'s frustrating to see this pup go through this again.
<a href='#comment-19783' rel="nofollow">@Jim</a> - Jim, I do understand. In the first instance, there was much more to it then is stated in the police report. I was very close to the whole situation and BSL did play very heavily into.
The original plan was to have Daisy rehomed but things did not work out that way.
As for this latest incident, which I found out about a couple of days ago... sad... just sad. I honestly don't know the whole story.
I'm not going to comment beyond that except to say that I hope Daisy does not pay the price. She is the one who is in danger and it is through no fault of her own at all. She is a very sweet and good natured dog who has been through far too much turmoil already in her short life.

This is the police report from Tammy's original crime. Keep in mind when you rread the police had to track her down cause she fled the scene. Still think this is about BSL? Tammy you should be ashamed of yourself for playing on the sympathies of pit bull and dog lovers alike. Please rehome Daisy you are not able to take care of her properly. And when you get in trouble you rely on others to bail you out. And worse you lie about the incidents to garner sympathy. Please for Daisy's sake adopt her to a responsible loving home! Southern Georgian Bay OPP recently laid two charges against a 37-year-old Penetanguishene woman, after a 76-year-old woman was knocked to the ground by a large dog at the Village Square Mall on May 23, 2007. At approximately 3 p.m. on that day, police said the elderly woman was walking through the mall parking lot when the dog jumped onto her chest and knocked her to the ground near the entrance of the pharmacy, while the owner went into the store. The woman fell backwards onto the hard asphalt surface and sustained a number of fractures to the pelvis and also injured her elbow and ankle in the fall. Through an ongoing investigation involving the OPP and Town of Penetanguishene Animal Control, they were able to determine that the dog had been left with a young child tied to the handle of a service door near the entrance to the pharmacy while the owner went into the store. With the assistance of the public and the staff at the store, the woman was comforted at the scene until she could be taken to hospital for treatment. The owner, dog and young child did not stay after the victim was helped back onto her feet and seated on a nearby bench. Investigators discovered the identity of the dog owner and the dog in question a short time later and charged the woman with failing to prevent an attack and failure to comply under the Dog Owners Liability Act. Dog owners are reminded that under this provincial legislation, they are accountable for the actions of their pets and must maintain control of them at all times when they are not secured in an enclosed compound or fenced-in backyard.

Now she has put the dog's life in jeopardy again by doing the exact same thing again. This time there is a poodle involved, Tamy says the dog was not hurt at all but she's lied before.

This is the latest misadventure of Tammy and poor Daisy. In Tammy's own words.

My Dog Daisy is being classified as a Pit Bull Mix In Ont Canada.

I have taken her to the Vets for all her shots and on record it states she appears to be a American Bull Dog Lab mix. And this it what she is registered as on her City Town Tag !! I don't really care i followed the BSL Laws just so not to get in any trouble. Now Daisy's Life may be in danger Due to Bread Specific Legislation(BSL)

Plz feel it in your hearts to sign this petition and give us your support to bring Daisy home to her loving family. Daisy is fix had all shots and went though Obedience training. Daisy is dearly missed and loved.

Plz fight to stop BSL World Wide. The Killing Must STOP !!

I don't even know how to start this my heart is broken beyond belief and scared to death. But this was NOT my fault at all on the 25th of July i put Daisy out to watch kids go to bus stop and sun bath in the morning sun on our porch just as she had for the past few months, and Daisy loved it and would stay out for around an hour.

I looked out to see NO Daisy i was shocked and in the most panicked state of my life i couldn't ever be in. I didn't even look at leash or put on shoes just ran around the whole neighbourhood, park and woods where we always love to go.

Then door to door NO Daisy i could not stop crying i looked for 2 1/2 hours calling her name. Clicking her clicker saying i got treats for you but no Daisy any where. I broke down crying my heat out my baby was gone and didn't know where she was i felt so helpless.

I came home and curled up in a ball on the couch my heart torn to pices i couldn't breath i just wanted her back i felt like i was dieing slowly inside and still feel this way i suffer from Anxiety Panic Disorder.

It was Tim that looked at her leash and came inside and said Tam its not your fault see i told you look at the leash it was cut half way or more and you would not have known just hooked her up like you always do. It made more sense but all i could think of is i want my Dear Sweet Daisy back my Sukey Pup !!

Tim then called the pound and they had her she was SAFE not lost in the woods with the coyotes, wolfs or maybe even a bear or hit by a car and alone dieing suffering some where. My heart was so broken the pain was to much to bear. As it is a Court matter.

The Animal control said the gentlemen feared Daisy would be hit. So call Police who came and call him and he took her with him. He did say he can tell the leash was on her and had to be cut due to how short the piece was that was still attached to her collar and said he would hold on to it as it was not chew but looked cut to him i asked him to Plz add it to his report and i just hope he does.

We talked to the owner of the Min Poddle the next day to make sure his dog was ok and if his dog needed Vet care. The gentlemen said she was just FINE. He said it was his dogs barks that got his attention and he came out and showed Daisy away. Daisy NEVER attacked his dog AT ALL just wanted to play and his dint so he even said his little dog was the aggressor NOT Daisy. He also said he did not want us to loss our dog or for her to be Put To Sleep.

We call the Police to come pick up the other part of her leash to show NO where has the leash ever been chewed but also because it was the other cut 1/2 . The Police said it didn't look right to him and did NOT look chewed to him or any where on it hope it was in the report!

We also went around to all the people on my street and everyone said they have no problems with Daisy and said she is well mannered dog that plays with most kids on street as well as big and small dogs and well looked after Sighing there name.

Just the one attached to me this is who we found out by two men on the street said as they where waited in the early morning for ride to work and the other letting his own dogs out and both men saw her throwing Daisy leash back on to my porch. We do NOT talk at ALL I have had nothing but problems with this lady since she moved in. She hates Pit Bulls and any thing looking like one !!

We called the Police and they have said they need more Prof some one seeing her actually cutting it. I was floored these days you need pic or video to be caught in the act. I cryed and said don't you think if i saw her cut it i would not have ever let her out on it. No real help that i can see so far with them sad.

Finally on Monday July 21st the police came i thought to talk and hoped they would give me Daisy back but said it has to be a Court matter and gave me a Court Date of Aug 07/08.

Daisy is being classified as a Pit Bull Mix under the BSL Laws.

Plz help by asking for our sweet Daisy to come home to her loving family who misses her dearly. This was NOT our fault Daisy's leash was mulishly cut !! :(

Ty

Respectfully

Tammy Brown

--

I'm sorry I didn't believe her the first time and now this BS story reeks even more. If Daisy was not deemed a pit bull the first time around and IF Tammy complied with the ruling then why is the word BSL being used to sell her latest attempt at getting bailed out by others?

Dog owners are reminded that under this provincial legislation, they are accountable for the actions of their pets and must maintain control of them at all times when they are not secured in an enclosed compound or fenced-in backyard.\r\n\r\nNow she has put the dog\'s life in jeopardy again by doing the exact same thing again.
Chris, this was one update that I took the greatest imaginable pleasure in writing.

I have kept up with this through the 'Saving Daisy' group for months and it has been a roller coaster ride to say the least and I am so thankful it's now over and with the happiest ending imaginable too!

And YES! BSL had got to end!!
